My profile
I am Avv. Marco Bianucci, a lawyer admitted to the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and the founder of Studio Legale Bianucci in Milan. My career began while I was still studying at the University of Milan. I have built substantial experience as a criminal, family and divorce lawyer, thanks to the multidisciplinary approach I learned from my mentors.
For almost ten years I worked with the chair of Criminal Procedure at the University of Milan, examining students in criminal procedure and supporting Professor Daniela Vigoni.
At the same time, I volunteered in law-awareness programmes in schools, on a pro bono basis. In these meetings, held in secondary schools in the province of Milan, I staged mock criminal trials in the classroom to help students understand the meaning of a “trial” and the value of justice. These projects, which combine passion and social commitment, reflect my view of the law as a service to the community and a foundation of democracy.

Criminal law
As a criminal lawyer, in more than 15 years of practice I have handled criminal proceedings, some of them well known to the public, always remembering that defending a human being, whoever they may be, is a great privilege.
I have acted in complex cases of corruption, embezzlement by public officials (peculato), extortion by public officials (concussione), tax offences (transactions that are objectively and subjectively non-existent), and corporate and bankruptcy offences (fraudulent and documentary bankruptcy).
I have dealt with mafia crime, assisting the families of murder victims. In cases of criminal association, I have defended people wrongly accused of serious mafia-association offences.
In medical malpractice, I have assisted both patients harmed by malpractice and doctors wrongly accused.
Thanks to my knowledge of family law, I have handled a great many family-related criminal cases: domestic abuse, stalking.
Finally, I handle sexual offences, in the belief that every individual’s defence must always be guaranteed: the right of defence is an inviolable right, and the lawyer is the keystone of the rule of law.
Family law
As a family and divorce lawyer in Milan, I handle separation, divorce, child custody and custody arrangements.
I accompany my clients through delicate moments, with focused legal solutions and human support.
I find family law a fascinating field because it reveals the deepest side of the human soul, and because the client is often lost and does not know what decisions to make. That is why I act as an attentive guide, so that at a difficult and fragile moment the person can make the right choices, putting first the children and the idea of a family that remains one even when it separates.
I have represented men and women in hundreds of family law proceedings, seeking mediation and negotiation wherever possible.
I work with expert consultants (psychologists, child neuropsychiatrists, pedagogists), private investigators, accountants and IT consultants.
Personal injury and compensation
I have assisted my clients in compensation claims for medical liability, workplace injuries and road accidents, with the aim of full protection and fair compensation.
During the Covid period, I handled well-known trials concerning the liability of healthcare professionals and facilities for failing to follow good practice to limit the spread of the virus.
Over the years I have represented victims of medical errors who suffered serious harm, up to the death of the patient, protecting the victim’s relatives in those cases.
In workplace and road accidents, I have assisted victims of very serious accidents, to obtain fair compensation for them and their families.

As a lawyer admitted to the Corte di Cassazione, I can handle the most complex cases up to the highest levels of the Italian judicial system. This admission allows me to provide a complete and careful defence at every stage of the proceedings, up to the Supreme Court.

High-profile cases
I have handled cases of great media interest, representing my clients firmly. In a world permeated by social media, a citizen’s defence is often needed outside the courtroom too, when their right to privacy and their dignity are harmed.
In my work I draw inspiration from the great Piero Calamandrei, who in a few simple words described the essence of the defence lawyer’s role.
