01
Background
She graduated in law with honours from the University of Milan. She began her career working with the Juvenile Court, alongside its judges in the exercise of their jurisdiction: an experience that showed her from the inside how proceedings concerning minors are prepared and decided.
She completed her legal traineeship at Studio Legale Bianucci and, after qualifying, continued at the firm as a lawyer. She works with the firm’s other lawyers from the study of the case file to arguing in court, with close attention to detail and to the person she assists.
Her work spans criminal law, family law and personal injury. In real life these areas often overlap: a domestic abuse complaint can weigh on decisions about the children, and a medical negligence claim can run alongside criminal proceedings. Knowing all of them makes it possible to weigh choices on one front against their effects on the other.
02
Criminal law
She assists suspects, defendants and victims of crime in proceedings concerning:
- tax and corporate offences;
- offences against property;
- criminal association offences, including mafia-type association and external complicity;
- offences against the public administration, such as embezzlement by a public official and corruption;
- offences against the person: homicide, domestic abuse, stalking, sexual violence.
She follows proceedings from the investigation to trial: reading the case file, meeting the client, preparing and attending hearings. When the case also involves the family, as often happens with domestic abuse or stalking between former partners, she follows both the criminal case and the proceedings concerning the children before the civil or juvenile court.
The firm’s work in this area is described on the criminal lawyer in Milan page.
03
Family and children
In family law she handles separations and divorces, both by agreement and contested: custody and residence of the children, maintenance, the family home.
She assists parents in proceedings before the Juvenile Court, in particular those concerning parental responsibility. It is an area she also knows from the court’s side, after her years alongside its judges.
04
Medical negligence
She assists patients and their families in medical negligence claims. It is an area that calls for rigour in analysing what happened and attention to the person, who often comes to the firm after a painful experience of healthcare.
The work starts from the medical records and clinical documents, which the firm reviews with a medico-legal expert and a doctor from the specialty involved. Before going to court, the Gelli-Bianco Law (Law 24/2017) requires a preliminary technical assessment or mediation; she also handles negotiations with healthcare facilities and insurers and, if no agreement is reached, the court case.
