Hindrance to appear in enforcement proceedings: Cassation no. 16084/2025 sets out the criteria for evaluating medical certificates

With judgment no. 16084 of 2025, the Third Section of the Court of Cassation clarifies that, in enforcement proceedings, the absence of the interested party is justified only if the hindrance is presented in a detailed and assessable manner by the judge: a generic medical certificate cannot block the hearing.
